What Does Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) Mean?

Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) means the price paid for your order does not include:

  • Customs Duties: Fees imposed by your country’s customs authority based on the value/type of goods.
  • Taxes (e.g., GST or VAT): Sales tax charged in your country (e.g., GST in New Zealand, VAT in the EU).
  • Customs Clearance Fees: Fees charged by couriers or postal services for customs processing.

Note: You’ll be contacted by your courier or customs authority to pay these charges before package delivery.

  2. Shipping & Delivery: Delivery times depend on your location and local customs processes.
  3. Customs Duties & Taxes: Upon arrival in your country, customs authorities will determine applicable fees. You are responsible for paying these to the local customs office or courier service for delivery.

Asia-Pacific

  • Hong Kong: No import duties; administrative fees may apply for high-value shipments.
  • China: Import duties, VAT (13%), and consumption tax for luxury items.
  • India: Customs duty and IGST (18%-28%).
  • Indonesia: Import duties (up to 10%) and VAT (10%).
  • Japan: Duty-free for most cosmetics; consumption tax (10%).
  • Malaysia: Import duty (0%-5%) and SST (10%).
  • Philippines: Import duties (3%-7%) and VAT (12%).
  • Saudi Arabia: Import duty (5%) and VAT (15%).
  • Singapore: No import duties; GST (7%, increasing to 9% in 2024).
  • Thailand: Import duties (5%-30%) and VAT (7%).
  • UAE: Import duty (5%) and VAT (5%).
  • Vietnam: Import duties (10%-20%) and VAT (10%).

    Americas

    • Canada: Import duties (0%-9.5%), GST (5%), plus PST/HST by province.
    • Mexico: Import duties (15%) and VAT (16%).
    • United States: Import duties (0%-6.5%); no federal VAT, but state taxes may apply.

    Oceania

    • Australia: Import duty (5%) and GST (10%). Orders under AUD 1,000 are exempt from duties but not GST.
    • New Zealand: Import duty (0%-5%) and GST (15%).

    South America

    • Brazil: Import duties (~18%) and VAT (varies by state, often exceeding 40%).

    Important Notes
